These terms govern your use of the Aylin Photography website (aylinphotography.co.uk) and any photography services, commissions, or print purchases provided by Paul Aylin, trading as Aylin Photography (“I”, “me”, “my”).
1. About me
Aylin Photography is the trading name of Paul Aylin, a sole trader. Contact: paul@aylin.net.
2. Use of this website
The content on this site (images, text, design) is provided to showcase my work. You may view the site and share links to it, but you must not copy, reproduce, or reuse any content without my written permission (see Copyright below).
3. Copyright and image usage
- All photographs and other content on this site are © Paul Aylin and protected by copyright. I retain copyright in all images I create unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- You may not download, copy, reproduce, edit, or use any image from this site for any purpose without my prior written consent.
- Where I supply images to a client under a commission, the permitted usage (personal use, print, online, etc.) will be set out in the relevant booking agreement. Copyright remains with me unless expressly transferred in writing.
4. Commissions and bookings
- Commission details, fees, deliverables, and usage rights will be agreed in writing before work begins.
- A booking is confirmed once agreed in writing and (where applicable) any deposit is paid.
- Any deposit, payment schedule, and cancellation or rescheduling terms will be set out in your individual booking agreement before the booking is confirmed.
5. Print sales
- Prints are made to order by a third-party fine-art print lab.
- Prices are shown on the product pages. I am not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to these prices.
- Because prints are made to order to your specification, they are personalised goods and are generally exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — except where an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described.
- If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, contact me within 14 days and I will arrange a replacement or refund in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
6. Payment
Payments for prints (when available) are processed securely by a third-party payment provider. I do not store your card details.
7. Liability
I take care to keep this site accurate and available, but I do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
8. Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
10. Changes
I may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when they last changed.
